2010-2011 | INTERNATIONAL DESIGN CLINIC

vendingEDUCATION was created with the International Design Clinic (IDC) in collaboration with Espacio Cultural Creativo (ECC) in La Paz, Bolivia.  It is part of an ongoing effort to make education (particularly arts education) more accessible in Bolivia's capital.  Blending in to the city's dense street-vendor markets, these kiosks allow for moments of collaborative creativity and peer-led learning.  Eventually, the IDC and ECC hope to scale this project from small, mobile vendor booths to a center for creative and performing arts tailored to the lives of the children working on the street in La Paz.
